Community Reviews
The CORSAIR 4000D RS Frame is a roomy mid tower case that stands out for airflow, easy building, and strong cooling potential. The included four 140 millimeter fans and thoughtful wire, cable, and hard drive routing make it feel well designed for a clean build. It also fits better on a desk than the larger 5000D, while still leaving room for upgrades. The main concern is build quality on newer 4000D versions, with thinner metal and some extra filtering or accessory tweaks helping round it out.
The case can include four 140mm fans, which supports strong airflow right out of the box.
The build process can feel enjoyable because the design supports wire routing and easy hard-drive additions.
The case can deliver near-silent operation and strong cooling when using large front intake fans.
The deal can be improved at checkout with an additional discount that lowers the pretax total.
Newer 4000D units reportedly use thinner or flimsier metal than the 5000D, which may reduce perceived build quality.
The case may limit storage expansion, since adding more than two 3.5-inch drives can require creative setup.
The case size can be a tradeoff, because the 5000D may be too large for desk placement even though it is heavier.

The 5000D is massive compared to this case (3" taller, 0.5" wider). Would have been way too big for me. My case sits on my desk.
