Realistically speaking, SlickDeals is free to use. They NEVER ask you for money nor do they even give you an option to donate. They literally will not take your money, they just want you to spend it elsewhere.

This site is over 25 years old. Being on the internet that long isn't free. Maintain a free service for millions of users isn't free. Developing an app/website isn't free.

So yeah, staff members might share a lukewarm deal, but if somebody likes it and they buy it, it helps keeps the lights on here.

I bought this same green one for $1.09 last July (yes, I know we have no time machine). I do use it all the time. It fits in my purse, a pen clips nicely inside the spiral, and it's perfect for taking notes at parent-teacher conferences or booster meetings. I would pay this price for a replacement but whatever/however it hit $1.09 last year was clearly much better. Maybe it will drop again when we get closer to back-to-school.
