https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i_GtVwew38 Your statement isn't checking out! Personally I would rather buy a new CPU than some overclocked, overheated dropped who knows what kind of past CPU that had bent pins and some dude bent the pins back used CPU. I watch enough Youtube to see these guys bending pins back cold soldering parts onto motherboards to get the into condition so that they will work for the 30 day return window and not much longer! For $79 you can easily upgrade later if needed and you have a throw away CPU for making a test bench or a torrent Pc or some other project later on!

Cpu + Motherboard or Ram combos pop up with this CPU all the time. For this price you might as well buy a $50-$60 Ryzen 5 3600 to save some cash and get that extra L3 cache and PCIE upgrade. Otherwise, wait for this to come in a bundle.
The performance difference is negligible. If you buy this you still get AMD's warranty.
Also you have ZERO protection against Item Not Received cases (ie when the seller is a scammer or if they ship to the wrong address). I learned that the hard way. My ebay account is strictly for buying from "official" brands like Adidas or Target (Bullseye deals)
It's debatable whether or not you're better off paying $5-12 (after accounting for shipping) less for a slightly weaker cpu without a warranty and some added wear. Not the choice I would make unless I just didn't have the funds.
That said, you do need to be careful in checking that your mobo supports this chip. Most b450 and alot of b550 do not natively support this chip without a bios update.

So you're saying eBay now favors sellers in "Item Not Received" cases?
Don't think so. Ryzen 5500 is single CCX. 3600 is in a 3+3 configuration and has cache penalties. 5500 feels better than a 3700X I replaced in Arc Raiders. PBO works great for the 5500 and is extremely easy to cool.
