I picked it up while the price was $75x.xx It's great for gaming, not so great for work. The text is a bit fuzzy. Also note that this monitor supports DisplayID, so you'll want t o be certain your video card supports it, or you may not get a display at all, as in my case with my RTX3080. I needed to install the Nvidia firmware on the 3080 in order for it to recognize DisplayID and even handshake with the monitor, which meant connecting my old monitor to just see video again. Additionally, Windows 11 has drivers for this monitor in addition to drivers for your video card. I like it for gaming, it's everything you'd expect. However, it runs WebOS, so it starts up on a homescreen, and you have to ask your favorite AI how to disable most of it so it just boots to the last known input. Also, I can't seem to find a button on it, so I have to power it on with its own remote (?), which sucks. Coming from an Alienware 34", which just falls asleep when you turn off the pc, this is a button press I find annoying. The curve of the screen is nice; it feels immersive. I also don't like the idea of updating the firmware on my PC monitor from time to time; I just want the thing to work. Is that normal? I just wanted a monitor. Since I finally figured out how to turn everything off and power on the last input, the only thing I am looking to sort is the monitor sleep function when there's no signal. Otherwise, both my Mac mini M4 and my Windows 11 pc are now working well with it.

So, to maximize this as a Windows 11 monitor using DisplayPort:
  • NVIDIA cards will need the latest firmware from NVIDIA (not software)
  • NVIDIA cards will need a current video driver for RTX series cards, recommended for gaming
  • Windows will install DisplayID drivers on the next Windows update
  • Windows will require you to enable HDR and calibrate the monitor if you want HDR, its not automatic
On Mac mini M4:

The monitor appears to work without additional drivers, but the rest of the bullet points remain valid. I have not tested HDR on the Mac display yet, using Thunderbolt for video.
This isn't a Mac endorsement. Just sharing what I went through to dial in both machines I use with this monitor.

Both:
  • Monitor will have a ton of snooping software you have to accept the policy on, and disable later, or it is sending your pixels to the mothership
  • Monitor will want to update its firmware a few times
  • Monitor will boot to its own homescreen, which you have to set to "last input" if you want it to just behave like a monitor
  • The monitor will require you to power it on/off with its own remote (?) I can't seem to find a power button on it.
