I purchased the Refurb De'Longhi La Specialista Opera from BuyDig (from a post on here) just a week ago and it arrived defective/leaking internally. When I connected with the BuyDig team, they advised me to contact a third party repair service. As this product arrived in a non-functional state (Defective on Arrival), the responsibility to facilitate a repair should not fall on me as the consumer. I do not intend to begin my ownership by managing the logistics of a third-party repair for newly purchased unit. With that said, I'm currently in the return process.

Just so you know what you're getting into with these refurbs.

Search for 'Prestigio' on SD for previous deals. Best Buy has new for $380, on sale from $900, and the comments on the post, and online reviews, state that this should be avoided.

That's actually a damn good price. Usually you need to pay $200 just for a decent grinder alone.

If you are looking for your first machine, this is a decent choice. Great way to dip your toes in to this space.

Everyone else should pass.

This was a good deal a month ago at $330 then a great deal at $300 a week ago. $262 is extreme deal. Bought one and like it.

On par with the Breville impress, only difference is lack of grind options, cant dial in as well. Who cares if your mixing it with milk anyways

This is my #1 concern, these espresso machines no matter the brand/model seem to crap out left and right, I want to know I can EASILY replace it or send it for repairs without hassle.

Either it gets returned within return window, or if it craps out ;ater, how good is Allstate warranty, does anybody know? Do they just tell you to cut the cord and send you a replacement or do they require to send the machine for repair like what was suggested to you? How long are repairs and who pays for shipping?

Between this and Magnifica Start for the same price. My whole decision basically lies on the warranty, how good it is.

I've been a Nespresso coffee drinker -- I do love the idea of having something like this but I also enjoy the quickness of having coffee in a press of a button with not much cleaning involve. But for the price -- I am tempted!
