These were on clearance at Lowe's for $12 last year. The $90 20V SKIL inflator performed faster than this version. The 20V model is a dual-function (inflate/deflate) brushless unit suited for heavy-duty tires (F150, RAM, LARGE SUVs) and inflatables, whereas the 12V is a compact, portable option ideal for car-side emergencies.
The 20V inflator generally provides faster inflation due to the higher voltage and a higher air volume capacity (14.4 CFM).Dual Functionality: The 20V Dual Function Inflator (IF5940-00) includes a dedicated high-volume mode with a separate hose for quickly inflating/deflating air mattresses.Portability: The 12V Inflator (IF5943-00) is more compact and lighter (2.4 lbs bare), designed to be easily stored in a glove box or trunk.
This is good enough for your small 4 cylinder vehicles tyres especially 17" and lower like my 2012 VW Jetta.

I got one of these last year. Has worked great keeping tires filled in our household...4runner, Tacoma, and Camry. Had a cut in the tire of my 4Runner and was pretty low when I noticed it the next morning. This thing worked great inflating it to get me up to Sam's to get it fixed. You're not gonna set any speed records with it, but for $30 this is a great tool!

I have a Dodge Ram Pickup with 20" wheels. R side rear has a slow leak and I need to fill it every week. The 12v unit does fine. It will take the tire from 17lbs to 35lbs in about 10 minutes. I use a 4ah battery in mine and it's good for 3-4 uses before needing recharge. Plus this unit is compact in size and easy to store.

This is overkill for a tire inflator.

How much does the batteries cost? I wish I could use this thing with my Milwaukee M12 batts. The red color is confusing

Amazon often has 2pack 2ah (with usbc charger) for $50. These are slide design (diff from m12).
Skil 12v is excellent value system.
