Philips make a very weak diluted espresso so if you want proper espresso it will disappoint you but if you just want a coffee flavoured water then it's a solid choice.

I'd go with a magnifica evo over a comparably priced philips lattego(3xxx series).
stronger espresso and the brew group is easier to clean/maintain.

I have a magnifica plus and a lattego 3200

Bought one, shipped quickly and received it on Friday. Been using it this weekend and no issues. Some commenters have said that their machines leak water or arrived in rough condition, but mine looked brand new. The espresso on the strongest setting definitely has a very bold flavor, which I enjoy. For $300 including taxes, not bad at all.

I know it looks like the coupon expired but I bought it and received over the weekend. Looks mint condition. Have made a few cappuccinos so far and been pretty pleased. It's soooo much easier than the manual off brand Best Buy espresso machine I had before. I'm still dialing it in but look forward to many years with this machine.

2 year warranty was great for a refurb.
