I got the canyon 5 a year or two ago for $500. Got all deore components and love the bike. This model seems to improve on geometry and fork and tappered vs non-tappered headtube. for me at least it doesnt seem like anywhere as good a deal as the previous Canyon sales. hopefully it goes down in price some more

Those deals will never happen again. Inventory was crazy high from the post-covid boom build up and bike companies had bills to pay.

Those are two completely different bikes. The Grand canyon is more of a gravel bike where the stoic is a trail hardtail bike.
