This 2 pack Roku TV replacement remote set is a basic infrared option for Roku TVs, especially handy for TCL and Onn sets that work right out of the package with no programming. The official remotes cover standard TV controls and are useful when a simple spare is needed. They are not voice remotes, and they do not work with Roku streaming players, Roku audio, or other smart TVs. Voice and app features require a separate voice remote, so this is best for straightforward TV control.

  • These replacement remotes use infrared (IR) signals and can control Roku TV menus without pairing.

    HiroNakamuragwite

  • These remotes can handle basic Roku TV functions without requiring programming or setup steps.

    mlnem4sgwite

  • These remotes can work right out of the package on TCL Roku TVs and Onn Roku TVs.

    mlnem4s

  • These remotes can be easier to keep track of by using the remote loop for a lanyard or zip tie.

    brownedpants

  • These remotes are not voice remotes, so voice and app-related features may not be supported.

    JollyTexture4698gwitesmartadze

  • These remotes can be less convenient than voice remotes for users who rely on voice control daily.

    JollyTexture4698thegoob143

  • These remotes may not work with Roku streaming players, Roku Audio devices, or other smart TVs.

    gearmesh

  • These remotes may not reliably support voice apps even if basic functions work.

Yes it will work. They are just infrared. The ones that wouldn't work offhand are the fancy Bluetooth ones

Pretty sure they work with all TV's with Roku os. I bought some "unofficial" Roku tv replacement remotes for my 2018 TCL series 6 Roku Tv and they work fine.

Please note, these are "not voice" remotes. Neither are the ones here in the op. IR remotes only.

I would encourage people to get a Roku remote with voice control. Once you've used it, it becomes an essential feature.

It's so hard to find the streaming Roku remotes. The "tv" remotes are a dime a dozen on Amazon. I HAD to spend $20 on the Roku voice remote with no other options

Get a large (like few feet long) zip tie from harbor freight and put it around it. Or attach a lanyard to the loop at the bottom of the tag on the remote. Much harder to get lost.

I bought these specifically for my TCL Roku TV and Onn Roku TV. They work right out of the package. No programming.
