I have one of these that I picked up for about the same price at Christmas. Absolutely love it and can honestly say it has made my cooking and grilling much better and more consistent.
Just used mine two days ago for the first time, and it was nice to not have to constantly check the pork tenderloin in the oven, but it still was a bit overcooked. I double checked with another instant meat thermometer upon oven removal, and it read 5% higher (150° vs. 145°). I'll keep using two until I've figured out the nuances.
