This is a great Deal! We paid full price weeks ago. It works great. Just note its only for big items. The prope has to be inserted into the meet up to the label or else it will get damaged.

As always, pay attention to who is leaving a positive comment, anyone with 10 reputation points should not be trusted and in fact should make you doubt the product.

According to Rufus (Amazon's AI), the ThermoMaven G2 is better because it does everything the P2 does, but with better range. Both have WiFi, Bluetooth, and the same high-accuracy sensors, but the G2 adds Sub-1G technology. This makes the connection much more reliable through walls and obstacles, reaching up to 700ft where standard WiFi might drop. So the G2 is basically "WiFi plus more."

Community Reviews

ThermoMaven P2 is a wireless meat thermometer built for long cooks, with two probes, Wi Fi and Bluetooth monitoring, and an app that adds useful extras like an Apple Watch app, iOS widget, AI cook time, and multiple sensor readings per probe. The probes are praised for accuracy, longer range, and helpful use on steaks, salmon, brisket, ribs, and rotisserie cooking, with the larger base display also standing out. The main drawback is probe size and fit, since the probes are thick and must be inserted to the marked line, making them less suited to smaller cuts. Coupon checkout also proved finicky and often required the ThermoMaven US seller or a browser refresh.

  • Pitmasters smoking brisket or ribs who want wireless monitoring, because the probes stay connected through Wi‑Fi and the app tracks long cooks well.

    BenC6093Phil17timbihlcuaghe

  • Grillers cooking steak or salmon who want accurate doneness checks, because the probes read very accurately and work well on thicker proteins.

    ZomboPhil17hotleadsingerguyundefinedmike

  • Home cooks roasting large cuts who need two temperature points, because the probes can read near the surface and center during long cooks.

    sranda03SlickHaddock868newhunter

  • Rotisserie cooks who want to avoid tangled probe cords, because wireless probes eliminate the need to rig rotating wires around the spit.

    LSUGeek

  • People cooking small cuts like chicken cutlets or breasts, because the probe must be inserted to the label and can be awkward or damaging on smaller meats.

    tallguyyzebulonj23hotleadsingerguybiggggant

  • Cooks who want to probe thin or delicate meats easily, because the probes are thick and leave large holes when inserted.

    a999999999timbihlkawdrifter2000

  • Shoppers who need dependable long-range wireless connectivity through walls, because the stronger range and obstacle handling are associated with a different model.

    MellowHamster437Volitionbuekiebob

  • People who need a four-probe setup for multiple meats at once, because this version only includes two probes.

The probes on G2 are thicker because of this.

Just used it and is worked when I switch the seller. Used what AlexRomanyuk said earlier; On the product page go to Other Sellers on Amazon and chose ThermoMaven-US. Then the promo code should work.

I won this in a contest a while back and haven't used it yet. I have to try it out or it will be just sitting in my closet for years because I will forget it's there.

Choose the vendor that is asking $150.00 for it then use the code. Worked for me after numerous failures.

Worked for me when changing seller as mentioned above. My Traeger thermometer seems off at times so this would be good to compare and also have the temp reading in 2 sides of the meat for long cooks. Thanks OP!

Purchased a single probe for this price. I would definitely recommend it, especially at this price. Works better than my Traeger probe.

Coupon is still good, but I had to checkout on my 🤓 laptop browser to make the coupon take effect. On my iPhone app, it didn't work.

G2 probe is thinner than my MEATER plus and definitely longer range. Pretty happy with it so far. Waterproof and higher temps too
