ThermoMaven P2 is a wireless meat thermometer built for long cooks, with two probes, Wi Fi and Bluetooth monitoring, and an app that adds useful extras like an Apple Watch app, iOS widget, AI cook time, and multiple sensor readings per probe. The probes are praised for accuracy, longer range, and helpful use on steaks, salmon, brisket, ribs, and rotisserie cooking, with the larger base display also standing out. The main drawback is probe size and fit, since the probes are thick and must be inserted to the marked line, making them less suited to smaller cuts. Coupon checkout also proved finicky and often required the ThermoMaven US seller or a browser refresh.

The code 3FNFHEQ5 can still work, but it often only applies when you select the ThermoMaven-US seller and the $149.99 regular-price listing. On the Amazon app, tap the arrow in the promo box to apply it; if it still fails, refreshing checkout or trying a browser can make the discount appear.
It works well for larger foods such as steak, salmon, brisket, ribs, and chicken breasts, but it is not ideal for small items. The probe must be inserted up to the label, so smaller cuts or thin meats can be awkward and may need a wired thermometer instead.
Yes, the probes are noticeably thicker than wired probes and can leave larger holes in the meat. Compared with a MEATER Plus or Govee wireless thermometer, they were described as thicker, though still usable and appreciated for the larger display and wireless convenience.
Accuracy is reported as very good, with the probes described as extremely accurate and the app's AI cook-time and resting-time estimates landing spot on. One comparison also put a similar Govee probe within 1-2°F using ice-water checks and a ThermoWorks instant-read thermometer.
The system supports Wi‑Fi monitoring, Bluetooth, iOS widgets, and an Apple Watch app, and the probes use multiple sensing zones to show temperatures from different parts of the meat. The receiver shows the lowest reading while the app can display readings from six places on each probe.

I would switch to this model, but I really enjoy having the 4 probes, for when I cook a couple different meats at a time on the smoker, which we do pretty often. Also, I like extra probes, for when I smoke things like a Turkey and want to monitor the temp of the breast and thighs, at the same time.
I think this is probably the better Thermometer, but if you are on a budget, the Govee 4 probe is on Amazon for around $34 and you can find it on Ebay sometimes cheaper. I tested the temps on it, using a couple of methods. I used the ice water method and routinely while I'm cooking, I will use a Thermoworks Instant Read thermometer, to check the accuracy of the probes. It's usually within 1-2 degrees every time.
Is it starting at $99 for those who it worked for or is it $149? Mine shows as 33% off (to $99) and the code isn't working. I'm def trying on the 2 probe one [amazon.com] as well.
The base station has a copious battery capacity, but I charge it every 5-10 uses just because.
If you have been not grilling because you hate ruining expensive meat, this thing is awesome. Every single thing I grill has been in the top 10% of my grilling efforts before buying. I will say that the probes are huge and leave awkward holes out the side of your food.
Also, if you use the app, you'll realize that you can actually get temperature readings from 6 different places on each probe. The receiver just shows the lowest reading.
I also use this for casseroles, since I have a lousy oven at my (rental) house. And I've done perfect roasts in the oven while I take a walk around the neighborhood with my kids, monitoring the whole time via wifi-connected unit talking to my app.
