They need to do something for seniors. They should do it free for seniors, or very minimal two or three dollars a month for seniors. Seniors don't have any money..
If you truly have no money, it's half off.

not sure on what verification they require now. It was stupid easy when i did it they just sent a link to edu email address.
and student is better the prime. cash back on some items purchased. not sure if unlimited amazon music is still part of it or not. always stuff popping up under student perks sections.
Amazon Music is part of it, but useless. The available tracks has exceptions that are noticeable. Also, the shuffle function on your custom playlists is horrrrrible. It keeps playing the same songs over and over and over. By comparison, youtube music does a decent shuffle and has more included songs.

I don't recall the age limit before. I'm older and have student prime even though I never misrepresented my age (perhaps I was never asked?)

I signed up for it because they kept breaking my chops to do it. I'm not even a student. I'm about to renew for my 4th year. No edu email, no verification, oh well, they can eat it

well now this post makes sense.. AMAZON is sponsoring this and plastering ads all over slickdeals..
Nothing new.
However If you do qualify or can qualify for it you should take it. The five percent back covers a lot of items and can be used towards other purchases.

Reasonable. It's outrageous however what Amazon charges for the membership!
