I have had this exact bike for about 6+ months. I use it 3 times a week. I am 6ft 34" inseam and I believe I am maxing the seat height and max bar height. There is room for the seat to go backward. I would guess this bike would not work for someone much taller than me but shorter would not be a problem. The resistance is fine i am not wanting for more adjustment. I use the bike with the Peleton APP. This does not have a computer and this is what you want. Do not download the Echelon app on your phone. DO NOT update the bike. Purchase qdomyoszwift and load it on your phone. It is able to synch with the bike via bluetooth once your start pedaling. It will provide Power, Cadence, If you have an Apple Watch or HRM it will provide HR and many more metrics. It will synch with the peleton APP. Not the expensive Peleton but the cheap one. I host it on a second device. You may be able to host the QZ app and Peleton on the same device I have not tried. I cast it to a TV in the room so my girlfriend can spin to. I love this bike so much I have a spare sitting in a shed if it ever goes down. I believe the app i mentioned was created to synch with Swift and other online virtual platforms. This bike does not have a crappy tablet that you will be SOL when it breaks. This bike has been setup in my unheated garage and is going strong. The only things I changed out were the saddle and installed clipless pedals. I hope this helps.

Admittedly I don't have the connect sport 2, I have the original. But it's had some issues. Screen went dead pretty quickly - but was replaced under warranty. Recently the speed sensor cuts in and out. If you know roughly the pace you want it's not a big deal, but annoying. All that being said for this price I'm considering hopping back in the saddle.

If you're committed to using a spin bike at home regularly, no. Look for a good used Schwinn, Keiser, Lemond on craigslist. You get something reliable, replaceable parts, and customer support.

Can you give me an idea how old your bike is, how much you use it weekly, and when problems started appearing and if those problems were related to electronics / software?
I
For instance, I bought a low tech Exerpeutic Folding Exercise Bike XL400 for $1110 in May 2022 from AMZ. Been using it every day while watching TV 40 minutes a day. Old guy and my pace is moderate. Don't need electronics. In the last few days, the left side pedal assembly started falling apart & I'm trying to decide if I should repair or replace it. Would love to get a similar, simple bike for the price of OP's post that will give me similar life based on my daily my usage.
I
Also, I checked Craigslist and local used listings & I see no used comparative bikes and I don't want to wait for one to appear while I skip my daily exercise routine.
I
Appreciate any insight you can provide.
I
ALSO: Is this the same bike at Walmart for $114 and 3 year warranty for $17?

All my issues seem to be software/electronics related. I bought mine probably 4 years ago. I usually ride 1-2x per week for 40 mins. Screen issue was within a year and fixed under warranty. The speed sensor issue showed up a year ago and has been slowly getting worse. Can still use the bike but if you care about stats they'll be off. For $100ish bucks I wouldn't complain.

It sounds like Echelon is breaking QZ support if you update the bike.

I see it for $144? Did it go up or was that a typo?

This bike features 32 levels of manual magnetic resistance and no built-in screen. No updates needed. No issues with QZ app, no issues with electronically controlled resistance, for there's none. Built like a tank, basic functionality, nothing to break. I've had it for 5+ years, used it for 4-5 times a week, no problems at all. Highly recommended.

if you are serious about riding/training I have found these type of fixed bikes are not worth it at any price

I don't have this specific model but similar

the angles are all wrong compared to a real road bike, for the seat and handlebars and they have extremely limited adjustment

you are far better off getting ANY kind of cheap low end 10-12 speed bike and putting it on the Thinkrider trainer when it comes on sale below $200, it's been as cheap as $150 with aliexpress.us codes

just my 2 cents, $130 may seem cheap but you will want to re-buy something else soon enough, these devices are only as good as you are comfortable enough to use it often, otherwise becomes a clothes hangar

https://slickdeals.net/f/19479315-thinkrider-x2max-smart-bike-trainer-2000w-18-climb-simulation-in-power-meter-169-free-shipping

wait for another sale if you want to use an indoor trainer often and want something comfortable

This is my first bike and it's been good. Had to buy a better seat and I don't use the software. The bike feels nice and the resistance is fine for beginners. If you are an athlete the resistance will not be enough. Happy with the price though, paid about $220. This price is a steal. Does not feel cheap or look cheap. Installation wasn't bad, took about 45 min.

Received and set it up everything yesterday and think it is super nice and high quality for this price point (much nicer than other cheap bikes I've used in the past). I may replace the seat later though.

I bought and downloaded the QZ app as suggested by others and used some double-sided nano tape to attach a cheap phone mount I had so I can use my phone (qz app) and tablet (videos) at the same time.
