I also see open box "Good" ones for $796

The specs say that the product weight is 3.96 lb. These Grams have exceeded their design objective. Anyone want an overweight Gram?

This "Gram" is four pounds; heavier than the 17" models. The weight difference to me takes these out of the category of light-weight laptops I'd be looking for.
It appears the RAM is not upgradable, But there is a spare slot for installing another SSD card so you don't need to replace the existing too small one.

Any thoughts on how this compares to a ThinkPad or something along those lines for a work laptop?
I used to have a LG - gram 17" Laptop - Intel Evo Platform 13th Gen Intel Core i7 with 32GB RAM - 1TB NVMe SSD. Would this be comparable with the lower RAM? I also noticed it is heavier, which is odd as the my 17" was lighter in weight

These 16" versions LG makes are NOT the 2-in-1 variety, so I don't see the point over their 15.6" line other than the added resolution. The 2-in-1s appeal to me because they can be laid flat or propped up vertically, which I like on airplanes. This is not one of those.

Yeah, shame. Would have been in if the integrated graphics were more recent, although that's asking a lot of this price point in this economic climate.

This is not a regular LG Gram, it is a budget line Gram Book, usually much heavier than Gram with much lower price tag since it uses different materials and components to build, therefore it has different qualities.

Are AMD processors good now? I have not looked at those in many years. Intel used to be way better if heavy graphics & tasks like coding were involved, is it still the case or have they (AMD) caught up?

AMD has pretty much blown past Intel a few years ago. It Intel who has just barely this generation pantherlake 3xx series CPUs just catching up to AMD.

Overpriced for a regular 16" laptop. Come down to $600 would be better.

All laptops nowadays seem to be priced high like this. Don't know whether it is shipping issues or chip shortage, I am sure some will come up with another excuse for raising prices for all of us :-)
