i think scheels deals are good overall but one time they sent me a completely different reel that I ordered. it was the right box but the reel inside looked like a display of a crappy reel. woulda kept it if was a better one than I ordered!

Lews makes really good rods, so they are definitely a solid brand, but I don't have any personal experience with their reels. for $25, I'd say it's worth trying out
