I wouldn't compare this to $250 since the price is usually in this $150 range. I bought one of these a year ago and found it really great for drilling into stucco walls and concrete. The longer shape can be helpful if going through a deeper hole. The handle is removable/adjustable.
The price has been drifting up and down. If you have the batteries and want a solid rotary hammer, get this. The other SDS rotary hammer has a shock dampening system and not enough extra impact power that you would notice it. If you drill a lot of smaller holes and don't have a need for the chipping function, get the ATOMIC 20-Volt MAX 5/8 in. instead.
