so you're disappointed that the bluetti accurately reports the state of charge, and you prefer power stations which are inaccurate? i would think the bluetti being accurate is a plus, not a negative. i doubt those other power stations are more efficient or last any longer. they just make you think they do, by showing a more rapid depletion, and then holding at 1% for longer.

These are great power stations. I've got several of them that I use for long lasting UPS units. One runs my office. Another ensures power to my 3D printers. Be aware that while they do have app support, it's bluetooth only. No wifi. This design is a couple of years old but reliable.

I don't want another Bluetti. I don't care for the one I have. When my Jackery power station hits 1% I can still get another hour out of it if not more. Same with my Oupes. The Bluetti is just done at that point. That's just one of many things about it.

Recently got a 600w UDPower and am back from a long road trip. Used it all the way, rain, heat, cold & every weather. I don't have others to compare against but this one is worth it. I am indeed now looking for a 1200w or higher.

Do they smell bad when you first turn them on?

Depending on your needs this is good and bad.

Good - Cheaper, light enough to be portable, works well and can charge via AC, solar or their 'Charger 1' unit from your car

Bad - Weak solar input and no (2-way) expansion ability. The lack of true expansion is the crux for this and many other smaller units.

I have this BLUETTI, 2 other BLUETTI and 1 comparable sized EcoFlow. I've had issues with BLUETTI but they have always fixed it under warranty.

I think the EcoFlow is a nicer unit, but if you just want a (relatively for its capacity) cheap UPS and don't want expandable capacity or large solar input then this one works great for that task.
