It's almost the same, and thanks to you, Ed, I just bought one. :-) Excellent reviews and includes a rotisserie that works great (so they say). Bakes a 12" pizza at 500 F and holds a 12 lb. turkey. The French doors open with one hand - good design and a deal-maker. Again, thanks!

ive read that french door designs arent great because a lot of heat escapes thru them vs the traditional design.

Almost all of these French door ovens are designed with a small gap where the handles meet. This will not affect the inside temperature as the heat is calibrated to include the heat loss. It's a non-issue. I bought this Kaloric 26L (including a rotiserie!) a few weeks ago for $92. at Woot. So far, it's terrific, but I'm still learning. It's almost too fast. I have to change the way I cook insofar as timing is concerned.
