Product Info
Product Description:
The Kobalt XTR 18-Ga Brad Nailer is the perfect tool for most applications such as residential trim work, cabinetry, furniture, and similar finishing applications. This tool is equipped with a pre-charged internal gas chamber to drive a piston which gives the user a similar feel to traditional pneumatic nail gun performance while eliminating the pain point of dragging an air compressor and hose around the jobsite. The XTR nailer delivers repeatable depth of drive due to the nearly instant reload technology so the user does not experience improperly sunk nails due to low air compressor lag. The pre-charged gas system provides instant nail delivery after the trigger is pulled. The 18-Ga nailer is equipped with an electronic control panel that allows the user to easily turn the tool ON with the touch of the power button. The user can also easily choose from sequential or contact actuation (bump) mode using the control panel. This cordless nailer delivers on all the features you would expect from a premium performance nailer including the ability to accept 5/8-in to 2-1/8-in long brad nails, 110 nail magazine capacity, tool-free drive depth adjustment, dry-fire lockout, tool-free jam clearing mechanism, magazine site window, and no-mar pads to protect the workpiece. I ended up buying it. I only use my nail gun a few times a year but its nice not to lug around an air compressor. It's a nice gun. But, if I was in the ryobi system I would look at that one, its smaller to carry.
