This is a terrible drill. Just because it says Dewalt on it, doesn't make it and good. Indicators of a garbage drill: plastic chuck - check, plastic clutch adjustment - check, "Fits into tight areas (7.6" long) = exact opposite of compact - check, crap battery - check, crap charger - check. If you want a Dewalt drill, pick up a DCD801 kit with with two 4Ah Powerpack tabless batteries, 4 amp charger and Dewalt bag for $199. If you want a compact drill + compact impact driver buy, the Milwaukee M12 Fuel Hammer Drill and Impact Driver kit that sells for $199 every day if the week. If you don't want to spend more than $100, pick up the Harbor Freight Hercules with 20v brushless kit for $98, the 20v Skil drill and impact driver kit for $79, the Skil 12v drill kit for $65.99, the Kobalt drill and impact driver kit for $99 or Kobalt drill kit for $79. All much better than POS.

This is an ok drill/kit, but I'd strongly recommend buying $99 Atomic kit right now at HD for $10 more...
