The black ones that include a Bluetooth dongle with aptX support have been this price on and off for the past 6 months.
I have these and I think they are worth it for the battery life, physical buttons, and USB-C audio, allowing you to use them while they charge but know that the build quality feels very cheap, plasticky and can be uncomfortable for some people because they are not very large.
As for audio quality this is very subjective and you can play around with the EQ anyways, if you are a basshead you're gonna need to tweak it a little bit.
Overall, the fact that the battery is very good (35+ hours) and have USB-C audio and you can use them while they charge (either bluetooth or usb audio), make them worth it for me even if they are not the best ones ever, these features make them very future-proof imo.
Also, the company that owns this division of Sennheiser is looking to sell it, just a heads up.

The bass is not as exaggerated. This has a more natural sound signature. In my opinion, the sound is miles ahead of Beats, but if you are a bass head, you may like Beats more.
