If you are asking questions like this the first option I would get is the 40 dollar vevor set when it goes on sale. It's not great, it's not the "optimal" metal for impact sockets but you get a huge set for 40 bucks and for the price the quality is unbeatable. a step up from that in quality would be when the harbor freight 61 piece Quinn set goes on sale for 100 bucks. For home users no real need IMO to spend more than that and it will be no skip and have everything you will most likely ever need in 1/2 in.
