The Soundcore boom 2 flew off the shelves a few weeks ago. Costco had them at $49.99 and $39.99 at a few stores. People seem to like it more than the JBL charge 5 and other comparable speakers. Also it floats in water while playing music and has 24hr battery life.

That's a good deal, not as good as Costco had for the boom2, but I missed that deal, so this is the next best option. It looks like you could return the Soundcore portable and effectively pay $53.54 for the Boom 2.

I have an older speaker by them that floats, very handy for tubing trips down the river. You never know when it might go overboard .

Soundcore has made speakers for years that supposedly are excellent value speakers. My personal experience is limited to one specific headphone and I was not impressed. I ended up giving it away.
