The Soundcore boom 2 flew off the shelves a few weeks ago. Costco had them at $49.99 and $39.99 at a few stores. People seem to like it more than the JBL charge 5 and other comparable speakers. Also it floats in water while playing music and has 24hr battery life.

I have the boom 2, its pretty good for the price. Doubt there is anything better in this price range.

The Boom2 is an awesome speaker for it's size. Excellent bass too! Not as aggressive as JBL but it won't leave you with regret either. I'm glad I snagged one at Costco for $39.99.

SOB... I just bought the Boom 2 Plus a week ago for the beach. I guess I will get this for the garage... Or I i will just sync them all together.

Edit: the Soundcore 2 apparently doesn't sync with the Boom 2 since it's an older model and doesn't have partycast.

Already own a boom 2 so buying this so I can connect them using tws. Really makes a difference for stereo dispersion.

I would have paid $70 for the boom 2 by itself. This is like getting a great price and a free smaller speaker for the bathroom.

The Boom 2 is a great speaker, especially when you have a pair of them. Make sure to pair them in stereo mode, not just connected to play the same track. The sound really shines when you apply custom EQ settings to them, which can be found on reddit. Once applied, the EQ settings hold so you don't need to re-apply every time you turn them on or when switching between source devices.

The boom 2 has been a great pool speaker, especially since you can toggle the bass boost on or off depending on the environment it helps with it sounding good even when noisy

If you don't need 80w and can live with 50w the Boom 3i is an incredible little speaker. It's much smaller than the Boom 2 and it rivals the JBL Flip 7 in size and sound but it floats.

I have a charge 6 (not 5) and boom 2, the boom is a much larger speaker so better for parties, but charge 6 is the better sounding speaking with no doubt, very different sized speakers tho.

Have had the original boom for going on 6-7 years. This speaker has been to more countries, pool parties, hotels than most people on this earth and still going strong. It's been the go to speaker at the pool and successfully has had hotel security called for noise complaints. Rarely do you buy something and keep thinking wow this is impressive. Well, here you go.
