How do they compare to carbide blades. We cut a few half inch bolts with carbide and they are still sharp.

No real world experience yet, but per AI

For most homeowner jobs, the titanium bi-metal set is the better buy. You get more blades, they cut cleaner in wood, and they're cheaper to burn through on normal work like:* drywall cutouts* trim* nail-embedded wood* PVC* basic metalThe NITRUS carbide blades are what you buy when you keep destroying normal blades. They really shine for:* old framing with hidden screws* hardened nails* metal-heavy demolition* cement board* repetitive heavy cutsThe big difference is lifespan. Carbide blades can last several times longer in abusive materials, while bi-metal blades dull relatively quickly once they hit hardened fasteners or abrasive material

If you need to cut through harder metal you need carbide. Found proof of that when I resurfaced my deck.

Nitrus carbide are so superior imo. Not even close. Tools are about having that advantage, when a nitrus blade on the sawzall or the multi tool feels like a cheat code.

I think I bought a three pack a few years back for a home remodeling project; removing installed studs, wire mesh in plaster corners. I'm still using the first one, it's still sharp enough. Nitrus carbide ftw.
