There is a huge difference in performance between lithium cells in batteries. The standard batteries are using 15+ year old battery tech.
The high performance batteries may not make a noticeable difference on a low power tool, like a light or a DIY budget drill, but they must definitely make a substantial difference on high demand tools, like angle grinders and circular saws.
Powerpack and powerstack are currently being relabled XR, so there will only be old style legacy batteries and XR high performance batteries very soon.
