I used to work at KFC. The mashed potatoes is powder and water. The lousiest side they offer.

secret: go to your local grocery store like Safeway or Albertsons, they frequently have $5 bucket of fried chicken and its 100x better than KFC trash. But get it when it's hot from the fryer or else it won't taste nearly as good!

Everyone has gotten into the, let's raise prices and blame it on gas prices, they won't go back down though.

Community Reviews

KFC's Tuesday bucket deal is a cheap way to get a full chicken meal, especially when the app or a participating store shows the 8 piece dark meat bucket at the advertised price. The portions can be generous, with large thighs, biscuits, and sides making it enough for multiple dinners in some orders. The main drawback is consistency, since availability varies by location and the chicken can arrive dry, oily, salty, soggy, or stale. It feels like a solid value when the store is participating and the batch is fresh.

Albersons I think is using Pigeons, they are selling 8 very small pieces for $8.99, KFC has way bigger pieces.
No. Popeye's is serving real pigeons.

The KFC promotion of 8 pieces for $10 was advertised in my area, but I noticed that the price had been changed to $11 using tape.
Prices and participation may vary. Offer only available on 8 pc dark meat buckets purchased on Tuesdays. Must redeem offer via applicable banner on KFC.com or app prior to checkout. Prices higher in AK, HI, CA

Yep, but I used to love it as a kid, just like wonder loaf bread - complete junk.

KFC changed how they cooked chicken at some point, and it never tasted as good after that. My family stopped buying it then. I've tried buying some off and on as a personal order every few years, but it's never been as good. I've been told they changed their cooking method - from pressure cooked?
