Yeah, I'm between C5/G5 now, or C6H/G6 in a year. My living room QM8K really makes watching the home theater A1 tough, but the good sound system is in the home theater. I'll have to keep an eye on how the firmware updates progress on the G6 as the months go on.

Depends on what you consider a while. Will prob be sub 1800 by BF. Not really any reason to buy a current model before then and seeing what deals are available on the C and G. I get that it is a tandem and better but the price is still too inflated for me to have any interest. Even if it 'only' drops to 2k because of it's 'specialness' that is still over $400 savings for waiting 4 months. Pretty significant IMO and I bet the pricing is more akin to where the c5 was a year before as that is their entry for that size and (mid) tier and that's what the pricing is mostly based on, not necessarily the tech or capability.
