Not sure where the $1519 price from but this is a $1499 build on the Apple website. Good price if you're not near a Micro Center

I don't see this config with 512GB SSD at Micro Center (not on their website at least), only 1TB SSD which is $1445+taxes: https://www.microcenter.com/produ...r-midnight

FYI. BH is apparently closed (will not allow checkout) for Shabbat until Saturday nightStupid BH question: any way to pick a different color? Pictures show all, but I don't see a choice option, and site earch only shows this listing (midnight)..

be careful. the only other same price listing I saw was a slightly different spec. I want to say it was at least lower RAM and I stopped looking at that point

Wow, great deal if you have the card to avoid taxes purchased same configuration directly from apple with student discount for $1399 plus tax. This would have saved me approx $228 (100 + 128 tax_) I love this configuration I use this as may main Claude AI device to assist with data entry analysis, research. No issues very pleased. If worried about storage, just connect 1 or 2 TB storage. Claude will work on drive so long it is connected.
