This 15 inch MacBook Air M5 deal stands out for the 24GB RAM and 512GB SSD configuration at a lower price than Apple's listed build. The same setup is described as a strong fit for AI, data entry, and research work, with enough headroom to add external storage if needed. The main caveats are that the listing appears tied to a special color and may not stay at $1299, and B and H's return policy and restocking terms deserve a close look. A solid value if the posted price is still active.
The deal can match a $1499 Apple website configuration when comparing the same 24GB RAM and 512GB SSD build.
The configuration can work well for Claude AI, data entry, analysis, and research workflows.
The deal may be achievable via a Payboo card flow that includes a 70W charger and ships for $1499.
The B&H return restocking fee may only apply when the item is not returned in proper condition.
The $1299 price may not be consistently available because the page can show $1519 instead.
Micro Center may not offer the same 512GB SSD configuration, showing only a 1TB option priced at $1445 plus taxes.
The discounted listing may be a special one-color configuration, while another listing allows color and other options without the discount.
B&H return policy feedback can be negative due to concerns about the return policy and restocking fee.
