FYI - check your laptops power requirements if you are planning on having this hooked up via the 65w USB C. It may be fine for some models but for some MacBook Pro models or other more powerful laptops that PD may be insufficient.

Never, ever connect this thing to the internet. I'd even be nervous about plugging in the USB-C connection if it shows up as anything other than a display port alt mode connection with maybe a USB hub, and nothing else.
It's bad enough your entertainment viewing activity is being watched, recorded and mined on an internet connected smart TV. Having that applied to a computer is absolutely insane, there is WAY more sensitive information being displayed on a person's computer.
Talk about an IT and business security nightmare for an employer too.
It would nice to have it just a little curve.
