I personally despise most guitars with flame tops, also quilted finishes, any sort of tiger-looking stripes, and gold hardware. I think all of those look super dated and are all boomer specifications.
Edit: I also wanted to say that I have nothing against "boomers" just that they tend to go for looks that are dated to me.

The flame tops on the SE models never look right. If the caps/veneers are not book matched perfectly the stripes do not line up and this look drives me crazy. Solid tops are my preferred. Ditch the birds too...
