the numbers represent the concentration. 20-20-20 is very concentrated, so put a little bit in the water. I usually cut the recommended amount in half. 10-10-10 will have corresponding instructions of how much water to add, no need to squirt twice you can end up with a solution of the same concentration by adding more or less water.

+1 on Jack's, I bought it ages ago and I still have so much left and I have a lot of houseplants. we are talking over 50 and I refuse to count them
