I have a couple of these and they are good lights and it is a good price. I have only found lower through some Woot Deals a year back @ $40 and was 3 weeks to deliver. Def not 1000. High is 500 and low is 200. Not easy to find the actual spec, but it is listed here on their web site: https://www.dewalt.com/en-us/prod...-tool-only Scroll to the different views, features and specs and posted here.

2 models have been introduced, the first was sold as 500/200, the second (a few years later IIRC) is rated at the 1,000 level. For quite a while they were both sold and people got bummed out when they THOUGHT they were getting the 1,000 lumen rated. This is the first time I've seen one being sold with BOTH specs.

I got 2 of these for 77.88 from Woot last month. I put them on a shelf in my garage and forgot about them... oops

Did they fix the heads on these? I've had some from a few years ago and the detent that keeps the head from flopping around is way too weak. Bump it and the head folds over.

I have both versions, each running 3+ years if not longer, and yeah, they are bit floppy just with the slightest movement. I would say I'm a heavy user of the light from housework (big and small) to under the car auto work, plus occasional light tasks. It will still hold itself if stationary but not when in motion. But they are my favorite Dewalt lights, and they've held up well going through beatings in a cramped attic, under the car, short drops, and very hot sustained 120 degree temps for at least several hours or slight rain and wetness. Works great as a temporary desk light if you need the extra light.

This is pretty good if you get the 1000 lumen version, Woot usually has the same or similar deal.

Woot has it for a few dollars more at $50. Gemini says the 500 lumen Type 1 lights were phased out in 2023 so I would assume the Type 1 stock should all be gone by now (~3 years later). Seller isn't Amazon for this but thinking of jumping on it 🤔.
