The Razer Iskur V2 X comes across as a supportive gaming chair with strong lower back and head support, good ventilation, and enough comfort for daily work from home use. The fabric version has held up for years in heavy use, though the arm rests can wear and the seat cushion may feel too firm for long stretches. Fit is a concern for shorter bodies, and there are reports of seat base cracking or wobbling over time. Warranty replacement for the base was handled easily, making it a decent long haul option if the sizing works.

  • The chair can feel comfortable for long daily use when the fit works for the user.

  • The chair can provide strong lower-back and head support for daily work-from-home sitting.

  • The chair may offer better gaming ventilation and long-lasting durability than many gaming chairs.

  • The chair's warranty replacement process can be straightforward when parts fail.

  • The chair can develop seat base cracking or wobble within about a year, even without being overweight.

  • The chair can be too large for shorter users, which may hurt comfort and fit.

  • The seat cushion may be uncomfortable for 8-hour use, leading to constant shifting.

  • The coupon may be unavailable, which can remove the expected deal price.

Stay away from that garbage in Office Supply stores and get a real office chair. Spend the money, $300, $500, $1,000, it's worth it and you won't be replacing your chair every year.
Yeah everyone says that but my $100 Staples chair is still working fine 6 years on. Is the $1000 chair really going to last me 60 years? My workplace has Steelcase chairs and they are somehow infinitely less comfortable than the Staples one... Somehow it supports my posture better and I don't feel any pain. On the Steelcase I end up hunching forward while I feel my back more supported on the Staples one.

Edit: Looks like the one at my work is a Series 1. Perhaps the lumber is not adjusted correctly but on the Staples one I don't have any adjustments whatsoever. I just flipped it over and saw a production date of Feb 2020. There are definitely benefits to more expensive chairs, for example the faux leather or lack of it may not rip as easily, and the height adjustment won't randomly decrease a few steps when sitting in it sometimes but those are definitely caveats I can live with for around $100.

How long would it last with everyday usage?
My wife bought me the fabric one back in 2019. It's still in good shape today. I work from home and in it at least 9 hours a day. The only thing that ends up needing replaced after a couple years are the arm rests. The silicon pads tend to tear on the sides. Other than that the fabric is still great.

Do yourselves a favour and avoid "gaming" chairs, I developed pain in my lower back from mine and it was an "Omega" brand which is supposed to be high quality, I changed to a $130 Serta Hannah office chair and have had zero pain even after sitting for 8-10+ hours and I weight around 195lbs at 6", so it's not an overweight issue.
Maybe it just wasn't the chair for you. I've had a Secretlab for almost 5 years now and it's been pretty good for me. I also use a HM Embody at work and while it's amazing, it's not $1500 amazing. With that said I know nothing about this Razer chair other than this is the budget version of the Iskur.

I bought a Serta brand office chair from Walmart a number of years ago (it was a Slickdeal), and I'm still using it. The cheapo faux leather has peeled away from the armrests and partially from the back of the chair, but it's been a very comfortable chair overall. I think I paid maybe a little over $100 for it. I am finally looking to replace it, but I'm not miserable in it or anything. It's hard for me to believe the hype surrounding Herman Miller chairs, but I've never actually sat in one.
Sit in one. They're way better for gaming than 95% of "gaming" chairs ... way better ventilation, and they last a long time.

I have this chair, and not even one year into owning it the seat base was cracking, had to buy some of the faux leather material off amazon to cover it up. I'd definitely skip this chair if I were shopping for a new chair and go with another brand, not worth the normal or discounted price. *Nope, can't just buy the seat part only, already checked.

Had mine for a few years and the seat base broke and got all wobbly. I'm not even overweight. Sit in it about 4-8 hours a day between casual PC usage and work. I don't lay back or recline it. The cloth materials on mine has held up. The ergonomic benefits of the chair are good, I think the only thing that holds the chair back for me is the seat cushion is not very comfortable. I've been having to work at home more often now and I just can't sit in this chair for 8 hours a day without constantly moving around trying to get comfortable. Razer replaced the base under warranty, that process was nice and easy. I've discontinued using this chair and have moved it to a different room and replaced it with a Haworth Fern. The Fern is ultimately in a different price league but it was worth it for the long hours having to sit my butt down in a chair. The seat is comfortable and the backrest cradles my back more with softer materials while still being supportive.

As for the Razer, I'd definitely take that over the cheaper DX Racer chairs I used to get but if I see something that is 'gaming chair' i'll avoid it like the plague as the materials are typically cheap and stiff as a board.
