The 65 inch LG C5 OLED evo stands out as a brighter OLED option for semi bright rooms, with enough of an upgrade over older TVs to make sense for a bedroom or living room refresh. It also keeps Dolby Vision support for those who care about that format, while HDR10 and HDR10 plus are described as working well enough for most viewing. The main drawbacks are the one year warranty and the free installation through Angi, which was reported to involve delays and missed appointments. A solid fit if brightness and OLED picture quality matter more than extras.
The checkout math can land near an out-the-door total around $1,243.99 after tax for the C5.
The C5 can be a better fit for semi-bright rooms because it is brighter than the B5.
The C5 can work well for HDR10 and HDR10+ viewing without treating Dolby Vision as mandatory.
The deal can support a long-upgrade path when replacing an older bedroom TV from about a decade ago.
The Memorial10 and additional promo discounts may not apply the same way for everyone, causing missing credits like the $56.69 line item.
The C5 versus B5 choice may depend heavily on room brightness and the TV being replaced, which adds decision friction for first-time OLED buyers.
LG's free installation through Angi can fail in practice, including missed appointments and installers leaving due to TV weight.
The warranty coverage is limited to one year, which reduces long-term protection confidence.
