having stated that the M1 Pro has fans and sustains its performance indefinitely.
M5 throttles after about 30 minutes when connected to external monitor streaming 1080p videos + office work.

Though idk why they need a Mac. Are these teens or college kids...I thought a lot of schools used Chromebooks.
For most people, the 16-inch model is not ideal for frequent travel. The 13- to 14-inch models are just perfect for portability. MacBooks also tend to last longer than most Windows laptops out there. Something that Windows laptops can never beat, the battery life.
