I was going to pull the trigger, but your comment saved me $109...
All those that says it sucks are not using correctly.
yeah it's an overpriced as one really doesn't need it....
BUT, This works great for planter boxes where the soil is NOT like concrete, clay, or your typical dirt. But Where the soil in the planting box is a good mix of planting soil mix, coffee grounds, and regular dirt. I have used this successfully with my 3 foot high planter boxes for the last 1 year or so.
One must use this without placing pressure on the tool and just let the tool work. add water if needed (I haven't yet) .
The one problem i found is that it will sometimes kick the soil in your face. That shield need to be bigger and wider.
