This refurbished Roomba Combo i5 plus is a self emptying vacuum and mop that can handle everyday cleaning, especially if you want the Roomba app and mapping features. The i7 plus and i6 models are described as lasting for years with routine battery, filter, and brush upkeep, and the i5 plus can work well again after a battery replacement. The main drawbacks are recurring app and mapping glitches, slow cleaning, and reliability concerns ranging from wheel motor failures to base melting. The mop attachment also gets called weak, more like dragging a rag than real mopping, so it is a practical floor cleaner with clear limits.
Busy households wanting a self-emptying robot for routine floor upkeep, because older Roombas can keep going for years with only battery and brush replacements.
Owners who mainly need basic vacuuming on a schedule, because the robot can clean daily and still do a decent job.
Shoppers replacing an older robot vacuum, because the platform can stay reliable for years with normal maintenance.
Homes that depend on accurate mapping and a stable app, because mapping and app functionality can be buggy and the app can get confused between robots.
Buyers expecting a real mopping upgrade, because the mop can do little more than drag a rag across the floor.
People who need a dependable robot that always returns to charge, because the wheel motor can fail and prevent it from reaching the base.
Households worried about long-term app support, because older Roombas can stop connecting to the app.
