Got this for $222 a month ago refurbished at Walmart, tried it out it seemed to work fine, hasn't been hot yet consistently so haven't used it much but so far so good.

I have a 90 day warranty so I plan on beating it to hell soon.

Currently $250 Walmart refurbished.

I have been using the refurbished one from walmart. All that mine had was a dent in the box, everything else is new. Been running it over two summers in Texas and it cools a decent 25 x 25 foot room. The app works with midea and all the other clones of the same model size and power. Uses about 700 watts for the first while with the compressor going hard (maxes out about 1350w for a while then the inverter slows it down and then uses the fan alone once at temp which is like 30 to 50 watts. You can run it in the summer for about 8 - 9 hours straight from an ecoflow pro 7kw, even longer if you have the ecoflow hooked up to solar during daylight hours.

I saw this end of season clearance at Costco for $250 last year. This machine is very efficient: low is 230-250 watts. Medium is enough to cool down a 200 sq ft non insulated room with single pane windows. Most of the time it's running on low.

It cools really nicely but these like to die if you use them heavily... I bought one in 2024 that died in August 2025 due to what seemed to be a coolant leak, lots of people in the reviews seemingly had similar situations. Midea support just told me to return it. Still debating if I should just learn to make a habit of buying and returning every year.
