Updates to game and pricing structure [steampowered.com]
As we've kept working on Roving Rovers since the initial release in 2023 we're ready for a major update and release.
Coming next week on the 13th of May you can expect a massive update including:
- Reworking the entire campaign for ease of playability
- Updated narrative and voice over for the entire campaign
- Added local co-op for up to 4 player
- Fixed a multitude of bugs and issues
- Many QoL changes
As part of this update, we are also moving Roving Rovers from a free product to a paid product with a small (~$5) price tag attatched.Anyone who has already claimed the game before this change will still keep a copy of the updated version, and anyone who adds it to their account in the next week will also receive further updates for free.
Looking to the longer future, we plan on continuing to support Roving Rovers, and building out the campaign into a much larger game once we have all the mechanics perfected.

Play Roving Rovers - Australian Rover Challenge 2025
Demo only had a button to Download and Challenge 2025 only had a button to Play Game. After I logged in both had buttons to Download and Add to Library.
