This dryer vent cleaner kit is mainly useful for reaching deep into the dryer and pulling out loose lint, with the adapter fitting several vacuum tube sizes. It also works for other tight spaces, including a car cabin fan compartment, and long term use has held up well. The main limits are reach and suction, since heavy lint can clog the tip, the hose may not reach the full wall vent, and a shop vacuum or wet dry vac is needed for stronger results. The promo code no longer seems to work.
Common Questions (5)
It reaches deep into the dryer where the filter goes and can clear lint buildup inside the machine, but it may only reach the inside of the dryer rather than the full wall vent run. For a full vent cleaning, a drill-powered brush kit with a longer flexible rod is often needed.
Yes, it can connect to a vacuum and the adapter appears to fit multiple vacuum tube sizes. With a wet/dry vac or shop vac it can make a very loud high-pitched squeal, so ear protection may be helpful.
Yes, it can be used beyond dryers, including cleaning a car cabin fan compartment and clearing a car ventilation issue. It may take multiple passes to get through the vents and remove debris.
The code 7P6LBTB9 was reported as working, but in the Amazon app you may need to tap the arrow in the promo code box before pressing Continue. A later comment says the code no longer seems to work.
It works well for loose lint. Heavy or compacted lint can clog at the tip, but pulling the tool back usually clears it.
