dewalt looks like a good deal too. i like the ridgid because of the lifetime warranty. I've already used it a few times for some tools.

An okay price if you need all the tools but nothing to go out of the way getting otherwise. The blower will drain the battery fast so if you need that tool get another battery.

Advice I just heard on a woodworking channel was that you buy into the battery system that has the oddball tools you want. Anyone can make a decent drill, impact, or saw. Who has the pole saw, or ratchet, or trimmer you want? That Dewalt kit was a lot more than this Ridgid. If these are all the tools you'll want, you're golden. I wanted outdoor power tools in the same battery system, so I went with Dewalt's.

Make sure you check the quality of the tools. I bought a Craftsman set on a deal and they were made from thin plastic. They are ok for around basic stuff. I wouldnt trust them for heavy duty projects or for work related stuff.

Craftsman is homeowner grade like Ryobi and Bauer.
