I haven't really had an issue with the connectors. They stay in place for the most part but I also have it sitting on top of a rug.
Community Reviews
This Thomasville Fallon modular sectional stands out as a big, comfy Costco couch with free shipping and a price that has dropped in store before. The cream and dark gray versions are described as sturdy and roomy, and the modular setup can be made more secure with aftermarket connectors, brackets, rug pads, or rubber pads. The main drawbacks are the pieces sliding without extra hardware, coarse or cheap feeling fabric, covers that cannot be removed for washing, and gaps or hard seams that can feel uncomfortable. It is a practical pick if you are willing to tinker with the setup.
Common Questions (4)
It may not stay attached on its own; the modular pieces can slide apart, especially on hardwood. A rug, rubber pads, or aftermarket metal/Amazon connectors can help keep the sections together.
It is described as very comfy and a big couch, but the back does not reach the shoulders for a 5'2" user and the gaps between modular blocks can feel uncomfortable when sitting or sleeping on them. The fabric is also reported as coarse by some in-store testers.
Long-term concerns include fabric pilling, cheap-feeling springs, and limited durability compared with sturdier alternatives. It may also need a couch protector if you have cats.
The exterior covers cannot be removed for washing. That makes spot-cleaning or using a protector more important if you want to keep the fabric looking good.

Also, since these are modular blocks, it makes the gaps very uncomfortable to sit or even sleep on as they poke you. Just get a normal couch with a flat base if you actually intent to use it for lazing around.
