Is this one good for "gaming"? My current Netgear router is buttcheeks and I wanna give it to my brother because he needs a new one.

It's a good router. I used for 2 years now and it manages 31 connected devices connected over a two story house very well. I have access points as well but it seems the wifi reach from the router is pretty decent. Streams multiple devices with no issues, gaming is fine for me but I am not a highly skilled FPS person so not sure I am the best gauge of that. Setup is very easy.

I have 2 TP LINK DECO XE75's currently.
1 as main Hub/router and other as extender.
Can I get this as my Main Hub and use my 2 current XE75's as Extender/hardline?

From the deal history, it looks like this is the regular price, but they sometimes raise it for a couple weeks then reduce it again. Not really a deal.

I have this router for my 2GB fiber. It works like a charm. Im a gamer and I have easy mesh all around the house and it is connected by ethernet to my PlayStation. I have zero jitter, and zero latency

Is this an overkill for my 1000 sqft apartment? I have 300mbps fios.
