Stay away from Vizio's. Seems like ever since Walmart bought them they've turned to crap, at least in my experience. Have seen multiple have issues with inputs and on/off out of the box.

They were already crap before selling to Wally World. They couldn't be worse than ONN TVs, though.
I've heard they will be primarily focused on content related to Walmart...... same as Fire OS is centered around Amazon content .

I have a 15 year Vizio that works fine. Been apart of 10 different moves. Been stored in frigid temps. Would buy abother Vizio for that reason.

They were crap even before Walmart. I got one of the first 4k 50" back in 2015. It got bricked (black screen) after the update just after the warranty expired.

Walmart purchased Vizio a couple of years ago. I have an old Vizio that's been a tank as well, but that acquisition makes me want to do my homework on a new one.

They were crap long before Walmart bought them. Vizio hasn't been a good brand in over 10 years. You get what you pay for with that brand.

He probably thinks the Dallas Cowboys are the best team in the NFL, since they had a really good run in the past they must be the same team nowadays

I have owned nothing but hisense for years now. I have had nothing but good luck out of, especially when they have the same features as the high price models. I owned a 75 TCL had bad luck out of, out of 4 or 5 other folks owned TCL models and 1 person's lasted about 5 years. Thats about what a TCL will get is 5 years if you have good luck. The ONN, very surprised, I have seen several folks I know owned a set and have lasted. I do know that, the back light needs to be kept on 50% if possible if you plan to keep awhile on any model to keep the bulbs from popping. I always buy a warranty, a little extra but better to be safe than sorry

I personally will not purchase a Hisense even though their top models best SONY at less than half the price,
IDK maybe ONN has stepped up in their quality once they became a Walmart exclusive brand. Listen to his first comment......

As with most things, there are high end and low end models. The higher end TCL and Hisense models are generally great but those are both Chinese companies that may have failures along the line. I always recommend customers the big 3 between Samsung, LG, and Sony but again, all manufacturers have low to high end models and you typically get what you pay for.

Yeah it was right around when they started their SmartCast features when they started to go downhill

Is Vizio still forcing users to use Watchfree when viewing over the air channels?
