Funny, but most of the people who make this comment don't make crème brûlée from scratch. I make it often and this torch isn't as good for the task as basic torches you can find in the hardware department. And using a tall thin propane cylinder instead of the camping style. Plus with those they double for sweating pipe joints. They fit in the kitchen cabinet much easier, for me anyway.
