This Ridgid 15 inch 12 speed floor drill press stands out as a strong value for a name brand shop tool, especially for drilling metal and general DIY work. The lifetime warranty and service network add appeal, and the price drops even further through military discount programs. Assembly is described as straightforward, and the machine can chew through aluminum much faster than a hand drill. The keyless chuck is a sticking point for some, and warranty shipping or delivery handling could be a hassle. A solid floor press if you want more speed and capacity than a handheld drill.
Shop owners wanting a floor-standing drill press, because the price is described as strong for a new name-brand unit with lifetime parts and service.
DIY woodworkers drilling occasional metal parts, because it cuts aluminum far faster than a hand drill and the setup is straightforward.
Home mechanics who want a simple drill press upgrade, because it feels like a no-brainer versus paying far more for a comparable store option.
Buyers who plan to bolt the machine down, because it is recommended once the press is set up.
Woodworkers who prefer a keyed chuck, because the keyless chuck is a turnoff on this drill press.
Owners expecting warranty service to be easy for a heavy machine, because the complete product may need to be shipped for service and weighs over 160 pounds.
Shoppers who need a pristine delivery experience, because the package can arrive spilled open and exposed to weather.

Still a great deal.
sidenote: I had never heard of the Wixey WL133 Drill Press Laser Crosshair before I watched the below video (the laser was mentioned in the comments). Has anyone here had experience with the Wixey Laser? https://a.co/d/057SgSIq
This is the best youtube review I found on precisely this drill press. Very straightforward and helpful review.
