There are 7 different models of impact drivers by DeWalt, each has different specs, so helps to know which one you're buying. This one in particular is their older model superseded by the DCF840, which increases impacts per minute. Not a bad tool at all however

Recently purchased the DCF870 @ HD clearanced for $110 117 after tax. Absolutely SLICK DEAL! Awesome impact & well worth the wait. I have been trying to find it again this low. It's the quiet hydraulic slim 20volt. This was on SD about a month ago!!

The Atomic series is the weakest and lowest quality DeWalt 20V drills. I recommend saving your money for the XR series which have a stronger motor and more metal instead of plastic.

I have the DCF870 model of this series, and it's absolutely my favorite tool. It can handle everything I throw at it.

Depending on what you do with it. For 99% of people this is good enough. They won't even use the potential of this one let alone the XR.

I have this one! And it's great! Smooth finish, no kicks. When the battery is dying tho, it stops working, doesn't slow down, then stop.
